The studio will
contain a white Backdrop and the model must stand 5-6ft away from the back of
the backdrop otherwise their body will camouflage into the white backdrop. Also
no food is allowed in the studio as the equipment I would be using is very
expensive. The set up includes 3 bowens flash lights and is knows as a three
point lighting set up, one of the lights are called a snoot light which helps
light up the back of the models head so you can clearly see the models hair and
the other two are known as soft boxes and these are you to help light up the
models face. Going into more detail about the soft boxes, these can be used to
give a greater effect on the model. For example: one side of the models face
can be lighter than the other. On the side of the soft box you will see a dial
from 1-6. With this you can set one to 3 and the other to 1.5, the side of the
models face with is closer to the 3 dial will be brighter.
Camera
Settings
The camera is
very easy to understand you can either use auto focus or manual focus. Auto
focus is the easier of the two as the camera will simply beep once you are in
focus. However if you use manual focus you have to adjust the lens until you
are in focus which could be time consuming.
